I grew up on a farm, so needless to say ive been around firearms my entire life. Safety first was a rule my dad instilled in us on a young age. My family started competition when i was 18, and after seeing them win trophies i joined them the following year. I started with shooting Olympic Bunker. It's an amazing sport and i met a lot of interesting people. I even was on the Canadian Jr Team for a year, however it was hard to practice (the only club that throws Olympic targets in Manitoba is the WPG Trap and Skeet), i made the switch to Trap after a year. Trap Shooting is an amazing family of like minded shooters. It has taught me so much and opened many doors. Trap clubs are scattered everywhere making it easier to compete.

I decided to become a Firearms Safety Instructor about 4 years ago, so I can teach anyone wanting to learn! I want to do my part to make this world safer for future generation.

The more i teach the more i realize that so many don't have access to firearms to even practice with. No one wants to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on a firearm and find out its just not for them. I have firearm rentals available for this exact reason. As a teacher you can only teach so much with a book and decommissioned firearms, sometimes you need to practice with a live firearm in a safe and non-judgemental environment.

We currently teach Non-Restricted (hunting firearms) & Restricted (shotguns/ rifles/ handguns), as well as Hunters Education (is currently 100% online for ages 12 and up). My business teaches private and public courses (1-24 students). We are constantly traveling to locations all over Manitoba to run courses.

I look forward to getting more safe and legal firearm owners out there.
